Yuchai develops the first 1000 kW non-road country four engine ignition in China

On November 7, Yuchai's first 1000 kW non-road national four-emission power generation YC12VTD was successfully ignited. YC12VTD diesel power generation is the first model developed after the transformation of Yuchai Shippower R&D system, which further improved the Yuchai ship electric power product spectrum. The new product is expected to be put on the market in 2019.

YC12VTD is a new high-power high-end power diesel engine independently developed by Yuchai based on the YC6TD platform. The power coverage is 880~1340 kW, and the emission reaches the non-road country IV, IMOT3, and China Shipbuilding II emission standards.

YC12VTD cylinders, cylinder heads, crankshafts and other large parts have been reinforced, and the average effective pressure is among the most advanced in the world. Moreover, the machine adopts electronically controlled high pressure common rail technology, and the common rail pressure reaches 2500 bar, which is more powerful than the same displacement products on the market, and the fuel consumption is lower.

YC12VTD can be equipped with 800~1200 kW generator sets, suitable for high-end commercial centers, airports, large hospitals, high-tech manufacturing industries, communications industry, energy industry, overseas engineering and other markets. At the same time, the product will also be gradually applied to the field of ships.

In the first three quarters of this year, Yuchai Ship's electric power industry faced a severe market situation and fierce competitive environment. It broke the market deadlock with change, accelerated product development with innovation, and achieved sales breakthroughs by fighting for the first time. Market share has consistently ranked first in the industry.
